  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice, and honey in a small mixing bowl until combined. Set the sauce aside.
  • Season the salmon pieces on both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat the olive oil in a 10-inch cast iron or oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the fish on one side until a golden crust forms, about 3 to 4 minutes. Flip the fish and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes.
  • Pour the brown sugar mixture over the fish and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook the fish for an additional 5-7 minutes for medium-well.
  • Transfer the salmon to a serving dish and drizzle with the sauce from the skillet. Garnish with chopped parsley or scallions and lemon wedges. Enjoy!

Notes

Leftover brown sugar salmon can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
